Additional Trainings
Every inexperienced visitor will enjoy an unforgettable experience in our simulators. Handling the simulator will be limited to the most basic functionalities needed to perform and execute an easy virtual mission at the "Rookie" level. Enjoyment and fun are the most important assets of this experience.
But for those who regard the flight simulation as a fun but serious (new) hobby, the "Rookie" level will quickly cease to be a challenge. Those sim-pilots look for a more realistic approach of the simulated flying and they focus on learning how to get the most out of flying the rather complex simulator. They want to improve their skills and challenge other sim-pilots whilst flying the virtual missions. We offer them several additional trainings to improve their skills and to improve the realism and fun of flying different virtual missions.
The following trainings will be offered:

Basic training
This training focuses on establishing basic flying skills and building an understanding of mission planning and mission execution. Learning the many functionalities of the simulator is more important than actually flying the virtual missions. This training lays the foundation for the next levels of training.

Bronze Wings
This is an additional training, introducing Air Combat Maneuvering procedures to the sim-pilot on top of his/her basic flying skills.

Silver Wings
This additional training teaches the sim-pilot how to handel the virtual weapon systems and the simulated attacks of ground targets.

Gold Wings
This additional training taches the sim-pilot the basics of Air-to-Air operations combined with Air-to-Ground operations. At this level all the functionalities the simulator can offer will actually be used and the pilot's workload during missions will be at its highest.
The exact syllabi of the different trainings are not finally established yet. A shift in focus and content between the training levels mentioned is likely. Once the trainings are finalized and sim-pilots are able to book trainings, the syllabus of each training booked will be made available to the student at the start of the training session(s). It is likely that trainings will span several hours split over several days. The documentation is part of the training. The price levels of the trainings have not been established yet.
