Booking Arrangements
The Viper Zero One Simulation center focuses on individuals, groups, men and women.
We expect to open our center around the late spring of 2015
The number of flight simulators is limited to 10 or 12. Therefor we advise you to reserve your slot in time to avoid disappointment.
It is not possible to make reservations until we have found a suitable location to establish our first center
Once we are established it will be possible to join the simulations without a reservation in advance, but only when slots are available and this might lead to some waiting time.
Once we have opened bookings can be made by the following options
- by the flight schedule page (not active yet) page;
- by phone;
- by e-Mail;
You will always receive a confirmation of the booking by e-Mail.
We will offer the following booking arrangements:
- Rookie
This arrangement is for the unexperienced sim-pilot with the focus on the basics of flying in an entertaining way. No knowledge or experience in the field of flying is required and this level is available for everybody. - Milk RunThis arrangement is for the sim-pilot with limited experience who wants to extend his/her flying skills and perhaps join the virtual battle in a competitive way. Experience at "Rookie" level is desirable.
- Bronze WingsThe Bronze Wings arrangement is for the more serious and experienced sim-pilot. From this level the reality of flying will increase. The main focus of this level aims at learning to fly and handle the simulator and to get accustomed to the many functions it offers. Flying the sim becomes less of a game and a far more serious experience. Sim experience at the "Milk Run" level is desired but not required.
- Silver WingsThe Silver Wings level combines the basic flying skills and the complex functionalities offered by the sim (in professional mode) and aims at learning to fly basic virtual combat missions. The pilot's workload is at a respectable level and the virtual combat missions aim at ground attack roles.
- Gold WingsThe Gold Wings level is available for the experienced sim-pilot. At this level the reality of flying combat missions will be very real. The sim-pilot needs to handle a very high workload and the virtual missions focuses on air and ground targets.
The content of the arrangements mentioned above is still under development and can change from what is described above. For the levels "Bronze Wings", "Silver Wings" and "Gold Wings" specific trainings will be developed and will be made available in due time. These trainings will enable the sim-pilot to increase his/her knowledge about the operational use of the simulator and the procedures involved in flying the virtual missions. Those trainings are no integral part of the arrangements but come separate! More information about the trainings can be found at the Trainings page.
The basics of an arrangement
For all our booking arrangements we request you to report at the Flight Desk one and a half hours before the start of the simulated session
The time before the start of the simulated session is used for changing clothes, and the preparation of the session.
Every booking arrangement consists of:
- check-in of the participant;
- to dress into flight gear;
- a flight preparation of about 50 minutes;
- a simulated flight mission of 50 minutes.
We do require your timely presence at the Flight Desk to enable a smooth preparation for the planned simulation slot.
After the Mission Briefing the sim pilots will proceed to the flight simulators and fly their simulated missions.
Once the the slot time has expired, the sim pilots will leave the simulators and return to the assembly area for changing the pilot gear into civvies and returning the equipment and clothing at the quartermaster's desk.
The pricing of the arrangements is not decided yet but we strive for a price level around or preferably not higher than Eur 55,- for a basic arrangement.
